A flame walnut and rosewood crossbanded partner’s pedestal desk, the serpentine moulded edge top centred by a well, each side with three frieze drawers and three further drawers to each pedestal, with tooled leather inlaid end slides and lockable side cabinets each enclosing an adjustable shelf, all on a plinth base.
A mahogany Bureau de Dame or ladies desk, the superstructure with an arched shelf above cabinet doors enclosing two faux book panelled doors, the desk below with a brass bound top and a frieze drawer on cabriole legs. The original Louis XV.
